I'm thinking that the bottle caps that are the currency for Hyper Training are going to be as restricted as the Ability Capsule (the most expensive item available in the battle facility, and doesn't change Hidden abilities). They're both things that allow you to fundamentally alter the Pok�mon it's used on. There's also the fact that they mentioned that Magearna comes with one.

And now that I think about it, Hyper Training was probably implemented to help boost the power of Gen I Pok�mon that have been transferred from the Virtual Console copies, as their max DVs only go up to 15 I think.
