Yeah, Grandia 3 was not kindly received even at release. People would have even less patience for its crap today.

Oops, my bad. This is what I get for not digging deeper. So, ESRB put out a rating for Grandia 3 on PS4. Generally that also means an European release. Turns out however that that ESRB filling was wrong, and what got released instead was Grandia 3 for the PS3, American-only release. I've no idea why any company would release a PS2 classic on PS3 halfway through 2016, especially since they aren't cross-buy, even if it eventually releases for the PS4, but there we go.

You know I wouldn't mind if Sony did a playstation TV 2. With the ability to play all ps1 classics and every ps2 classic on ps3 and ps4 and can play Vita and psp games. And it uses microsd cards. Bonus points for offering the ability to use streaming services like vue. I think it would be a decent business model and a perfect companion to a ps4. It just kind of sucks because there's ps2 classics that might be stuck on ps3 only or a psx game that doesn't work on Vita and who knows if we'll ever get psx on ps4.

That'll be an easy pitch after the unqualified success that was the PSTV.

Man, why the hell isn't chrono trigger available on the eu store yet. I know I can buy it on the na store but I like playing ps1 games on my vita. I sadly did not have enough foresight to make my main account an us account. I never got to play it and all I hear is how great it is.

I'm allowed to think about how cool a PSTV 2 could be. One of the first flaws I think is they didn't advertise enough what the PSTV could do. It's not that expensive now and it can still play most psp and Vita games as well as minis and psx classics. For the price point, it does well at that. It also has access to some streaming stuff. It just needs more software support and advertising.

Someone wanted that thing to fail. I distinctly remember going to a local game store to preorder it, and the owner, a person I consider to have decent knowledge of games, remarked that it would be cool if it played Vita games on a big tv. He sounded incredulous when I told him that's exactly what it did.

The PSTV comes with 1GB of internal storage anyway, which is more than enough to hold your P4G saves.

I'd probably be more inclined to buy a PSTV if it didn't cost the price of a 2nd PSTV to get the memory card for it. Also, apparently some PS1 games don't work with it, which is kinda lovely considering they all worked with the PSP, AFAIK.
