I hate to be the cynic but we all know they're doing the Genesis sprites so they can reuse a bunch of poo poo and turn a tidy profit because these games have been bombing super-hard, right? I'm not saying it can't be good or anything but we all accept this, right?

So this is it? Don't get me wrong, nostalgia and all, but I was hoping for Generations 2, not Mega Man 9. Well, if anything can get the fanbase to stop whining, this is it and it looks pretty fun.

Christian Whitehead is doing it, so I'm going to say no, it's actually because he's as big a Sonic fan as any of them and wants to have a go at making a real proper genesis-style Sonic game.

I'm glad they went for more of a Sonic CD look than straight Genesis. I always thought that game looked nice even though it's awful to play.
