Modesty Blaise and Prince Valiant do it right. Phantom has done it right in the past, and so has Newspaper Spidey, for that matter. Judge Parker skates on a thin line, but at least there's a story around those pointy nipples. Mark Trail recently has been reaching Chickweed levels of being little more than obvious wank material for the artist.

Disappointing a child in something so important is cruel. ANd what about Brad, or the other characters.
