Honestly the jacket is the only striking difference between the two. Looks like the graphics have been refined a bit; his hair isn't quite so flat and his face, mouth aside, looks a little more defined than before. Still, everything about the game has looked gorgeous so far and I really hope they don't fall into the pitfall XIII had where they sacrificed nearly everything for that (and that really really doesn't seem to be the case with XV).

The jacket looks the same except for brightness. Now whether that's because they lightened it or because of different shadow effects, hard to say.

I'm getting a vibe that its going to be great in my gut from what I've seen but my head is telling me there isn't going to be too much content, the story is gonna be lame and it will be  but I really hope I'm wrong? As I've said before the limited availability and my childhood of FF fandom overwrote logic and I ordered the ultimate CE. If I was to follow my head I would cancel it and see how it goes. Seeing things like the environmental awareness and possible Ultros get me too keen for this.PS: Nice username and av bear is driving not thought about that show in years.

Yeah that woman played on a completely different level from Mat, made the combat system actually look fun and not cumbersome. Mat just sucks.

At least according to Duscae, MP is used for warping/dodging, and for using special abilities tied to your weapons (if that's still a thing).

As far as we know, Shurikens requires MP to even use, so basically it's to encourage mixing magic and skills because having both tied to MP will basically make every fight a warp-to-ceiling battle which would be boring.

Duscae was fun. Idk why but the world feels more "real" like the monsters look like things that could live in the world and are part of it. thats always been a problem i had with alot of Jrpgs. i am petty i guess.

MP is only used up by dodging attacks with the Guard button, using the Royal Arms weapon type, and Warping. MP could be considered a defensive resource, but it also has aggressive applications. Consider the Titan demo battle. You COULD just sit on the ground and wait for the QTE, but you can also just ignore that and warp up to his arm and engage him in aerial combat, avoiding his ground-smashing attacks and defeating him quicker. But you have to be careful when doing this because if you go too wild, you'll run out of MP and maybe fall to your death.
