Valve just restricted the API the gambling sites used to make them unable to serve as middlemen, essentially shutting them all down.

so I managed to grind up from 24 to 30 over the course of 12 or 15 games joined a group last night with a bunch of 35-40's, lost 4 in a row getting our poo poo pushed in back down to 24 done until season 2

I mean, if these Special Boxes gave you ONLY Rio items that might be worth investing in if you like the cosmetics, but with only one guaranteed Rio item that's a pretty dumb thing to splurge on if you've already amassed any amount of items organically through leveling or previous purchases. But, really, if you just want to do it anyway then whatever. Who gives a poo poo what people spend their money on
