I would pay in kidneys if they replaced that stupid green/yellow/red bar with the player's average ping and packet loss. I don't know why developers hate players having good information but gently caress them for it.

That's not really a valid excuse though. Everyone knows the networking is poo poo and they bitch about it constantly, trying to cover it up doesn't change anything. Valve did the same thing with TF2 for some dumb reason. Made it close to 10 years showing the current ping on the player list, and then suddenly switched to color bars. What the gently caress guys.

It sucks for people like you but casual mcgamerman doesn't know what the gently caress a ping or packet loss is, but they know green is good and red is bad. Now, why it doesn't have some sort of toggle is the better question.
