I'll take Zach Redmond. There may be a good reason he keeps bouncing around the league as a depth defenseman but he's had good numbers and I always liked the guy. Also, he can't be killed.

I'm gonna go ahead and take one of the very best shutdown forwards in the league. He's still just 23 but has put together successive terrific seasons, with very good fancies despite starting in the defensive zone almost 70% of the time for a poo poo team. Winnipeg selects Johan Larsson.

Who knows if Gudas is as good as he was this year, and Daley's possession numbers haven't been terribly impressive when he isn't on the Mike Sullivan Pens. Matheson is promising but young. I guess the hope would be that my forwards can make the d look better than it probably is a la the real Pens. Trouble is I have no Letang, but I have some confidence that my top pair could eat up a poo poo load of minutes at least.

Well the last two guys are probably going back to Juniors, even in my hypothetical fantasy franchise management so there's a little more flexibility there. Zajac and Foligno really do have poo poo contracts though lol Anyways I'm thinking I'll take probably 1 more prospect maybe and then go with cheap and hopefully not poo poo vets for the 4th line/bottom pair/backup goalie. I just couldn't rationalize taking some replacement player over those two guys but I'm probably missing some under the radar bottom six/fourers. Greene gets ridiculously tough matchups so if you're criticizing his possession numbers based off of that I don't think you're giving him enough credit. Boychuk I know less about but he seems at least adequate as a top 4 possession guy. Not saying it'd be a dominant first pair or anything but I think it would get by with my forwards and an aggressive system.
