Going off anime thread, i always thought that introducing two characters immediately before they are killed off was really sloppy from a pacing perspective, but if they move Cinderella to next week then that means quiet life and SHA are right next to each other which seems to ruin the pacing even more. If they are going to move stuff around they should have moved some filler arcs to space it out a bit, like moving Ratt later or moving Harvest and Cinderella earlier.

Yeah. It definitely seems like it'd either make more sense to have fiddled with the schedule further, or just leave it alone. Immediately finding Kira after he kills Shigechi kind of blows, and I prefer the pacing of new character dies over losing that downtime between in which Kira is still chasing hands. At least with the new characters almost immediately dying, you can chalk that up to it being a result of getting mixed up with the Joestars. Kira needs to believably be able to have a quiet life.

 Bad change imo. Better to have a gap between Shigechi dying and them taking a little while to find Kira. Kira appears in the Diamond in the ED now and I think Stray Cat cameos. This ep is a bit quality.

I think the changes are ok, no more insta death of characters right after they're introduced (though still very fast, but it should be less jarring.) and Quiet Life + Sheer Heart Attack doesn't seem that weird, there's a logical thread between the two the only risk is a sheer overdose of Kira.

I guess it's good that we will have Shigechi around for another episode instead of him getting immediately offed, but I wish I didn't have to wait another week for Kira. On the other hand Moltrey posted:a solid 4 - 5 weeks of Kira.

shooting dio was also an event that took place in an entirely different place with two characters that weren't super relevant in the main plot with the protags at the time, so it was easier for them to shift it around a little. in this case it's a direct plot element that's supposed to be a bridge between events, so it's innately weirder.

The whole fly thing in part 3 was more contrived Also nice cameo by British Blue this week and Shigechi and Kira have appeared in the ending.
