No, you're right, the titles are vertically oriented and our author view is horizontally oriented, so things would get very tall very fast and most actual posts would be much much shorter than the author pane. Which is fine on a desktop monitor and may be even an iPad, but we'll have to at least default off on iPhones.

Depends. You can decide join date isn't important and relegate it to some sort of popover and jam avatar text under the name in the smaller font and disrespect line breaks.

Unfortunately I think that'll mess up quite a few custom titles. Plus what do we do about gang tags? e: I'm not saying we can't but I really think we should think this feature through and test it thoroughly. I would say it would make more sense on an iPad or iPad Pro to have more of the websites layout. Like, when they're full screen and have the space for it, it could have the avatars (and gang tags and text) on the left side and the content on the right. When you shrink it, it can remove those elements before showing it as the "phone" version, or how it is right now.

Got off my rear end to work on the missing tags from my personal bookmarks, does anyone know who this is in the BSS specific movie tag? My guess is Howard the Duck but I think his movie costume was actually shittier. Also I added a F2P icon to the repo and I made it at 200x200 because we did the previous icons in 90x90 for no good reason and we could stand to bump up the fidelity. (5 years from now we'll embark on all SVG icons!)

This is probably pretty low-priority but I wish there were a way in the iPad app to get out of a thread view and just leave the main pane empty. I'm used to the phone version where you can go back to the bookmark list and so when I come back to the iPad app I have to figure out if I am in the middle of reading whatever thread is open or if I already read it. It doesn't help that Awful always reopens in the middle of the thread even if I was at the bottom, even if the app was not purged—if I close the app while at the bottom of a thread and reopen immediately it jumps up several posts. This only happens in landscape and the position it jumps to is the same as the position it goes to if you scroll to the bottom in landscape and then rotate to portrait and back, so I think it's just resetting the scroll position based on where the "bottom" is in portrait.

The Planetside 2 thread kills Awful dead on my iphone5 (latest version) and 2nd gen ipad (probably 5 updates old) every time I load the 2nd page. But only the 2nd page.
