By base quality of character model and faithfulness they're okay, but they really don't capture the colors and animation of the Overwatch characters and really just fall apart when you start seeing them in animation. In that video, it's most obvious with Tracer. The colors are off, the hair's bad (and nowhere near as animated), the face is all wrong, and the animators just aren't capable of making her as animated as she is in Overwatch. On the other hand Reaper comes out fairly well, but that's not because it's a better model; it's just that Darkblack McBoneson's color scheme is easier to get right, and his animations are largely pretty rigid and reserved in Overwatch anyway so he translates well into SFM movies.

But with proper chops, SFM stuff can look loving fantastic.
