i'll take jf berube to be my backup in net since he's apparently going to be the Isles backup this year and they love him and he's also cheap and I need that at the moment Pretty happy with how my team turned out. I wanted to go heavy offense and make at least 3 lines that could carry possession and I feel like that happened, happy with my centers and really happy with my wingers. Would've liked to have gotten one more big name defender somewhere in there but even though my back end isn't filled with the sexiest names at least they do well on the fancy side of things. They won't put up a ton of points but if they're sound in their own end and can get the puck out I feel like my forwards would be able to take it from there. Guys like Tanev, Petry, and surprisingly even Benn are really good at suppressing shots against at least. I'm taking Zack Smith as my 4C. Good at face offs and had nice fancy stats last year. 25 points is more likely than 25 goals but it moves Josefson to wing. Parise-Bergeron-Simmonds Steen-Kadri-Buchnevich Beleskey-Karlsson-Mantha Larsson-Smith-Josefson Doughty-McNabb Werenski-Hamonic Pysyk-xxx Elliot Johnson Coach: Claude Julien I wish I had another proven winger and not Mantha there but I would give him a legit shot so maybe he'd work. With Julien coaching especially I don't see many holes in this team.

Smith has been piss through most of his career but he was legit good last year. Even before the scoring run he was a noticeable positive player on a lot of nights. He looked like he lost weight or something last offseason and gained a step.

Pretty much. He shot at an unsustainable success rate and is probably still a 10 goal player but again he wins face-offs and figured something out last year because all of his numbers were quite good and for a 4C I am happy to get him. Josefson puts up great fancies but sucks at offense. Larsson is one of the best shutdown players in the league.
