The NSA is one of at least 15 intelligence agencies, and combined the total U.S. intelligence budget in 2012 was $75 billion, said Steve Aftergood, director of the government secrecy program at the Federation of American Scientists, a nonpartisan think tank that analyzes national and international security issues.

DEEP in the desert in Utah, the National Security Agency (NSA), America’s signals intelligence branch, has built a $1.5 billion centre to scoop up and analyse data from the internet. The building includes its own water-treatment facility, electric substation and 60 back-up diesel generators. It will use over a million gallons of water a day. Its data-storage capacity would be enough, according to one estimate, to store a year of footage of round-the-clock video-recording of over a million people. At this centre, communications from across the globe are tapped directly from the fibre-optic backbone of the internet.

The only thing stopping us from being safe are those rear end in a top hat leftist "civil liberties" shits. Hillary will put a much-needed stop to that poo poo.

quote:

Civil-liberties campaigners are now raising questions about the oversight of the intelligence agencies. “What the Snowden revelations showed…was that the oversight structure is totally broken,” says Neema Singh Guliani of the ACLU. In the FISA court, she points out, there is no advocate for privacy—it is biased in favour of the agencies. Of 34,000 surveillance applications put to the court between 1979 and 2012, only 12 were refused.

Thats about the amount of water to irrigate half a square mile of agriculture. Especially in the great basin area there is a decent amount of irrigated farms off of internal drainage rivers.

Clinton has shown that she responds to political pressure from the left. We have a far better chance of curtailing the security state with her in office than Trump.

utah uses more than 3 billion gallons a day for irrigation according to 2010 data. more than 20 million for golf courses. industrial pulled 118 mgal/d total but 70 of that was saline. i wonder if this facility uses saline?
http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ut/nwis/w...ter%2BTreatment
utah's annual water supply, subtracting overextraction of groundwater, is apparently 7.3 million acre-feet a year, or 6.5 billion gallons a day
https://le.utah.gov/interim/2012/pdf/00002706.pdf

so this would be a pretty big industrial user but there's some water in utah. i don't know how climate change is looking for them, they're losing snowpack i'm sure

incidentally (as of 2004) utah had 5.5 million acre feet or 1.8 billion gallons of reservoir storage, not including the colorado river reservoirs in the south of the state http://www.slcdocs.com/utilities/NewsEvents/news2004/news10082004.htm, and these reservoirs are currently at 64% capacity http://www.nrcs.usda.gov/wps/portal/nrcs/detail/ut/newsroom/features/?cid=nrcseprd1192411 which is kind of interesting

Nope. Bernie Sanders is a textbook social democrat. He's not a democratic socialist like he claims, but he's not a centrist liberal either, and to think that you'd have to be huffing your own far-left farts for so long your sense of political alignment got miscalibrated.

brutal article about the trump campaign

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/14/us/politics/donald-trump-campaign-gop.html?_r=0

quote:

He would have to stick to a teleprompter and end his freestyle digressions and insults, like his repeated attacks on a Hispanic federal judge. Paul Manafort, Mr. Trump’s campaign chairman, and Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey argued that Mr. Trump had an effective message, if only he would deliver it. For now, the campaign’s polling showed, too many voters described him in two words: “unqualified” and “racist.”

Mr. Trump bowed to his team’s entreaties, according to four people with detailed knowledge of the meeting, who described it on the condition of anonymity. It was time, he agreed, to get on track.

Nearly two months later, the effort to save Mr. Trump from himself has plainly failed. He has repeatedly signaled to his advisers and allies his willingness to change and adapt, but has grown only more volatile and prone to provocation since then, clashing with a Gold Star family, making comments that have been seen as inciting violence and linking his political opponents to terrorism.

"You should have majored in engineering," said the man.
Job began to weep. The man shrugged.

"No sympathy here," said the fat man as he slopped more wine over his double chin.

And it will be the only poll of Mississippi (or the first of many depending)?

On the first question, I actually don't know. I'll ask if it looks like we might actually make our goal.

On the second, there has only been one poll of Mississippi, way back in March, by Mason-Dixon.
