The whole series was an anime. DR3 will end with the whole cast applauding Ryouta for his work while Chihiro just gives him the biggest WTF face for murdering literally everyone related to him off over the course of the series.

The end of DR2 implies that both personalities merged somewhat though(and we specifically never see his eyes outside the simulation in the epilogue, but he did decide to live as Hinata), so Hinata might just be kind of a jerk instead of an emotionless world-destroying talent robot. Though Full Power Hinata has crosshair-eyes so

I was just thinking last night that it would be funny if the countdown at the start of the episode said 10 instead of 11, meaning that someone else had died. I laughed a bit when I saw that was exactly what happened. I assume he was killed by Monaca, after entering her room (I assume the Monokuma door was her room), and that Seiko was killed by the killer. No Sakakura, aside from the flashback. Is it too much to hope that he is dead too? With the real Gekkōgahara dead outside of the building, that means that there is still a 16th person there, unless the 16th person is Hiro or Monaca. I doubt it, because neither of them are wearing bracelets. So Evil Yu Narukami has left his sword with Chisa and has taken Tengan's wrist-shooter instead. How is he going to cut through the walls to make dynamic entrances now?

I saw the new episode and it's very rude E: Friend noticed some blood on the blacksmith's eye meaning he broke his rule and died that way, wonder why he was stabbed then. If it's "don't eat sweets made for you" thing as I saw people guessing, maybe he attacked Seiko and killed her, saw the candy she dropped "eh why not" and popped it in because there's no way she'd have candy from his gal pal. E2: Looking back at it myself, the knife is missing from Seiko, so it's the same weapon. ThisIsACoolGuy fucked around with this message at 19:59 on Aug 15, 2016 |

I feel like Monoca might actually be setting up to frame sweets girl or something, because sweets girl is obvious as poo poo. And if she were stopped, Monaca could then take the place as a confirmed hope. Also I guess happy ending confirmed, because 30% is a window small enough for Naegi to bullshit.

they were always good. I thought at least blacksmith dude would live and now he's dead and I have to deal with Ruruka for the rest of the series. Ugh. Everything else was cool, and I never thought I would be excited to see Togami.

Incredibly worried about Hinata still being Kamukura and also kinda bummed that it effectively makes DR2's ending null and void. I hope they can make something decent out of this either with Future or Despair. Nice to see Togami and Fukawa again at least, and Komaru is there too I guess. And Izayoi bit the dust which is about what I was expecting

It feels weird that Naegi decides that they don't have to play by Monokuma's rules when he is wearing a bracelet capable of injecting sleep medicine and immediately deadly poison.

I hope they can make something decent out of this either with Future or Despair. To be fair, the ending to DR2 didn't make a lot of sense; they explicitly stated how all their memories from the VR would be erased, yet they were still somehow "fixed" after leaving the VR. Didn't bother me that much because people overcoming the explicitly impossible isn't uncommon in anime, but it makes a "actually he was still full of despair" outcome pretty plausible.

Watch this be a setup for Makoto's death followed by Yasuhiro becoming the new main character. Has anyone else noticed that the deaths are no longer matching the intro sequence? Only the first couple did but now they're all different.
