What do the other riders think? I can only find a quote from O'Shea who didn't see the problem and just said 'that's track racing' I have no idea of the rules but it looked like the judges didn't give it a second look.

CNN have Viviani saying it wasn't Cav's responsibility. Someone else had Hansen saying "poo poo happens", but I forget who. Trott looks suspiciously like the only person in this race who's been trained properly. Lack of nous and lack of speed from almost the entire field. Or possibly the only person on a full regimen. That was some pretty absurd acceleration.
