Didn't you read the annotations? The final game is actually super smooth and features all-original sprites, he just forgot to make a good trailer, check out his patreon for more info. My guess is he made it with Construct or some other export-to-HTML engine and it runs even worse than it does in the trailer.

Been trying out Poncho today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-uBKKFXikU Unfortunately with all these parallax layers you get a poo poo ton of shimmering pixels as you move around, and the translucency effect when you're behind layers appears to be glitched or something. I'm digging the atmosphere and simple gameplay, but the choppy framerate and glitchy appearance are making it hard to enjoy edit- left the game sitting for a while and it hardlocked .TakaM fucked around with this message at 09:30 on Aug 19, 2016 |

Man I did not remember the Underground course of Pokemon Snap at all. I remember most of the others and where all the good shots are, but just a complete blank on the Underground one. And quit holding out on the Pester Balls, Oak. I need them for triggering fancy shots by harassing wildlife .

Do you think the company that shunned Hideo Kojima for Pachinko machines, only to have the market for pachinko machines get them less money then game re-releases, who then said "hey, new idea: Metal Gear + Co-op + Zombies," would do anything "cool."

So I played through Kirby's Adventure as my first Kirby game ever and one of the biggest WTF moments of my gaming life was when I had to fight Dracula on the surface of the moon as the final boss. The entire game up to that point was a Cute Game for Cute Gamers and then all of a sudden it's Castlevania.
