You can never win, and constantly increasing enemy health is easily the laziest form of artificial difficulty you can use. I wouldn't hate it half as much if it at least had a win state for each stage, like Extinction.

Well that's.. kinda the thing. It's not a stage, it's just Survival/Endurance/whathaveyou. But fair enough. Which is funny because there are some people who didn't like Mob of the Dead's quest ending or Origin's quest ending due to it ending your game right there. ... now that I think about it, I don't get the lack of quests that end the game thing a whole lot. I mean poo poo, you kill the past versions of the guys and stop some eldritch poo poo spawning in the 1930s but at most they just give you some experience and all the perks on the map. The latter's understandable to a point since the macguffin that was supposed to remove the characters' curses gets jacked by Not-So-Camp-Nazi Nolan North and it was supposed to be a way to say "welp you're hosed lol". Still, maybe a win condition could be good for certain maps.
