I can't imagine Nintendo intentionally releasing a game that would specifically compete with another game at the same time. Releasing two Smash Brotherses is what puts that rumor into bullshit territory. Well, that and Nintendo ever releasing an F-Zero game again.

It makes sense, because the WiiU was too broad and unfocused. This is the opposite! (I think Focus being a popular car brand already rules it out because that makes the name too ambiguous and generic)

The NX Smash will be called Final Smash and it will be the last Smash game, and it will be an All-Stars style version select of all the previous Smash games using the same pool of high-end models and lighting, I just read this on 4 chan.

One of the main reasons "Wii" was a retail console name and "Revolution" was not was because of branding and searchability and all that. No way they go with something as general as "Focus" (besides all the other reasons not to believe that report).
