It's mainly a good illustration of what a 6.2" screen would look like in terms of size and portability, if the controls detached., Though I would expect there to be more thickness and a wider bezel.

Doesn't the patent have the controller parts sliding into a slot? Or is that another mockup? This makes more sense, and would line up with the patents for controls that don't use a battery (using that passive inductor method a few pages back, and just for the buttons on the slideout) and could lead to some interesting implementations. Could have an optional snapin rack on the back that holds extra parts, too.
