I had been thinking that the worst part of this story was that it started with "I'm worried something happened to him." Followed by no attempt whatsoever to locate him, or figure out if something was currently happening, just looking through a scrapbook, and implying CTE. If they thought something was wrong, shouldn't they have made some attempt to find him?
