Also it's like clockwork, shoulder charge equipped, other team is all shotguns. Not equipped, all snipers. Juggernaut is more reliable, if also boring.

I use the same load out and have almost more melee kills than heavy kills. Max armor means you can tank an extra bullet from most things and a shoulder charge etc. Its not allowed in most tourneys because you gently caress up a lot of three burst or hit kills or and gives you a little bit of that extea chance to survive some things. Its really, really useful with an armor piece. I'd advise arms that increase melee speed to go with it though.

Well yeah, but Unstoppable is in the last column. Headstrong is the one that's mutually exclusive with Transfusion or Aftershocks. Also  at sweaties' "wah my Grasp of Malok or Hawksaw can't instamelt Titans, wah."

Unstoppable gives you +1 armor and gives you damage resistance right through FoH. Helps to stop you getting killed by a shotgunner, bubble bro, blade dancer or hammers etc when youre going for the shutdown slam. Less often but still handily it can help you survive team shots to not die as you get to cover or get a res or something. Its really rare but i have used it for that specific reason once or twice really late in closing of games where theres a hundo points in it or something. The +1 armor with the codecs and armor stack work to make you survive poo poo when cruising around. Juggernaut and shoulder charge don't grant you the extra armor, again to help the break points. None of this will make you a pvp god but when you're looking to base your playstyle off being aggressive and using primary a lot it'll help you win gunfights and survive those times you shouldn't. Overload+transfusion especially. It helped me win a 1v2 in trials this week to clutch a 4-4 game. A one tap from tlw and full charge melee strike will kill most players charging around. It all flows together when everything procs. It helps to have at least some kind of back up plan when you main a hand canon that spills half a magazine in 1.5 seconds but only holds 8 rounds when you come up against 2 enemies. Being able to tank a bit more damage helps that much more.

I wish I wasn't such an aggressive player or that I didn't overwhelmingly favor shotguns and rushing. I don't even enjoy the current meta of dumb high impact shotguns, my favorite secondary in the game is Invective. I just don't find sniping engaging. Staring at hallways, trying to hit scope glints, and failing to quick scope isn't as interesting and blazing down hallways and tapping three Hunters with a shotgun while they flail around trying to pull out TLW is fun to me.

Don't know if posted earlier but if you give a poo poo about grimoire completion and don't have fusion or sidearm kills, this week has been really fun with it in heroic strikes. Loading up on sidearm ammo and using a void queens choice (modifiers are specialist and void burn) melts through anything, including elites and bosses. About as fun as strikes get tbh
