I actually cheated and saw other people's answers, but this still immediately came to mind. Some people think it's overhyped, but for me it's really polished with a lot of little details that show there was a great deal of care put into it. It is an homage to its genre(s) while still being a welcome part of it. It is really clever and with a casual or passive experience you will probably miss some of the more brilliant nuance the first time around. Season 2 was ehhhh, I still sorta liked it, but it felt like some sloppy storytelling and the seams were beginning to show in how linear their "branching" storyline really was. Like hey, you save someone from death. They no longer have any lines in the game and went from being important to being basically a prop.

I played very little of SC:BW. Didn't play online games when it was popular and then only played it a few times with friends about a year or so before SC2 came out, and we'd just play BGH or stupid incomprehensible custom maps.
