ohgodwhat posted:Arizona with its expiration dates set years after most Arizonans turn senile. wisconsins id laws made it so that i had to present a photo id where i had a beard to the tsa when i flew to vegas, even though i had transitioned (and lasered that motherfucker off) months before that. rear end in a top hat held it up next to my head and made a show of comparing it to me for 5 minutes before they took me off to a room and molested the gently caress out of me. then they swabbed my tits, rear end, crotch for bomb residue in front of the entire security line anyway. meanwhile vegas tsa waved me through a metal detector and told me to have a nice flight. the tsa is a secfuck in every dimension and layer all at once.

eh I got pulled aside and swabbed because the Memphis airport TSA staff was bored (they seriously see maybe 100 travelers a day). I also found out that the reflective strip on my Levi 511 Commuter jeans will 100% earn my ankles a pat-down.

I once got random bag checked and chatted w/ the tsa guy looking thru my bag. we were both white dudes and apparently his sister went to the same school as me so he let me keep a metal fork I had in my bag. they aren't all terrible but most of them are. tsa is the people who are too fail to even be cops.

In 2007 I had gotten drunk as gently caress and lost my license the night before I had to fly to Atlanta from RDU for my technical sales job. I took a taxi had no photo ID and got there 15 minutes before gate closure and still made my flight. In a better world this would be the norm for everyone however, in this, the gayest of earths, that was apparently a privilege. Why can't that be official policy for everyone?

A friend of mine was trying to get planning permission to renovate a flat he'd bought in the historical centre of a city. he spent 6+ months trying to get his paperwork sorted out. eventually he grew tired of that game, spoke to a politician friend of his and got his paperwork a week later

I think you can even submit all the required forms online and only show up in person (at a prearranged time so you don't have to wait in queue) to put your signature on the id. so decadent, our forefathers would never approve

Anyone else read the OPM report? It's dry but you should check out chapter 5 jeff (IT director and all around scumbag) is told he has malware by cylance, goes "poo poo this could be bad, let's get a second opinion and also make it a blind test and not tell them we know anything", then brings in cytech who goes "Uh so we found malware on what you said was a quarantined network but it kind of looks like a non-quarantined active production network and our CEO says to give you some free services because these are literally the systems his clearance information sit on" then jeff decided to try and cover it up, misled a select committee about cytech's role in discovery and instructed staff to wipe all the cytech servers that had logs and forensic images and ship them back even while an investigation was in progress spawned from the NYT leak story and the committee hearing Bhodi fucked around with this message at 17:37 on Sep 7, 2016 |
