Ask me about Game Pass: the Best Deal in Gaming!
Vancouver is the team that probably gets the absolute least coverage in the US, at least in the northeast media market.

What a perfect day off from working where I could totally be watching MLS games. If they're not gonna break for international games, why not have played today? MLB had games...

I just skipped doing it this year because I forgot to update it but this is a much better idea.

Though, to be fair, I would probably prefer that my team be simply forgettable rather than inheriting the "flaming garbage pile" mantle from Chivas USA.

MLS Cup 2016 will be played December 10, a Saturday, on Fox. Not FS1, Fox. A smart move, really, because there's not going to be any football on at the same time, college or pro.

Let me tell you about true luxury.

No football but college final exams, people readying for the holidays and generally forgetting soccer is in December.

Eh, things being on Fox rather than FS is pretty important. It's kind of a dark irony that "nationally" televised games are harder to catch than local ones for the Sounders at least. But yeah, I remember the last few times it was between MLS Cup and the Winter Beer Fest, and well, I chose the beer fest.

e: vvv Yeah, that's a bigger problem. The playoff games have been really poorly spaced out the past couple of years.

Maybe trying to capitalize on the premiere league fans? It will still be bad if there is another weird gap between the final and any previous games.

The fact that we insist on having two-legged series and also on respecting the November international break kinda makes this inevitable, though? (that and the two-week break before the final, which I guess is logistically necessary if they don't know where the final will BE until that point?)

Bedoya will be the Wynalda of the 2020s-30s and they both know it.

The international break is a good point, as is the two legged fixtures. And if you add avoiding football to that...

Though, I don't think it's that logistically necessary, even though MLS is a smaller league, other leagues like the NHL, the NBA, and MLB have undetermined final locations, and with multiple games too. It's not a good comparison, though, those leagues normally play multiple games per week. Additionally, some break is probably ideal if you want players to have some time to rest and recover so they're at their best.

It's really not easy, I guess, though more evidence for single table with Supporters Shield being the championship. I don't think it will happen, too many benefits to conferences with travel, and with conferences, best record as championship makes no sense.

Definitely seems to be a reputable source. Twitter is going nuts about it. Donovan is 34 and has been sitting for almost 2 years, though, so I have a hard time believing he'd still be an impact player.

Well there's now a bunch of corroborating reports floating around from LA journos saying it could be announced as early as tomorrow, so it looks like we're gonna find out just how well he's stayed in shape!

Gonna be rad when he scores the gamewinning PK at the Azteca next June after Marquez is sent off for dropkicking somebody

Even if he scores 20 goals in the games remaining, there's no way JK is letting him anywhere near the USMNT. Can't have a player taking Bedoya's spot because then the photos will be released by Ale's intermediary.

Been wondering the same thing.

I've been waiting for Bradford Jamieson or Lassiter or McBean to start playing regularly with he first team forever.

BJ4 is being treated with some kid gloves since the really bad concussion for the Nats. McFrijolito is loaned to Coventry for the year. Lassiter is really hot and cold and hasn't been playing much in Los Dos.
