Yeah. Funnily enough, a live action Static Shock probably would be a better sales pitch and a better show. But ultimately DC doesn't seem to care too much about its IPs so it just does whatever and hopes it sticks.

A Static Shock show would be great, but given the near super-saturation of Superheroes in both movie and TV, I'm surprised no one has fast tracked a Greatest American Hero reboot. A deconstructed goofy anti-superhero seems like the perfect show right now.

If you aren't watching Gotham, you're missing the kid who plays Bruce Wayne also playing a doppelganger hobo who has spent more time just staring longingly into the camera like some kind of tiger beat photoshoot than actually saying words. Every time I want to stop watching this show, they go so off the rails, I can't look away. Edit: OMG, they're seriously dumping the much younger Poison Ivy actress in a pipe of "fluid" so they can sexy and age her up. This show is like some kind of weirdly amazingly bad 90s comic.
