I've been called a Trump supporter for bringing it up (I'm 100% voting for Hillary) and it's usually just immediately dismissed. It just annoys me because I wish we could hold up our values a little higher and not give him a platform or prominence or respect without earnestly discussing and holding him accountable (at least reputationally) for his actions.

Someone I know (center-right trump hater) just told me that Donald Trump doesn't need to show his tax returns because he's a "private citizen" but Hillary Clinton should because she's a public servant. Even though they're both attempting to become president, the most powerful public servant in the country. They also said that Trump "being dirty" is more acceptable because he was a businessman and that's "what they do", but Clinton is too untrustworthy and un-transparent. There seems to be an enormous double standard in how Clinton and Trump are perceived.... hmmm... what could it be....
