God drat idiot CV drivers. Have a full spread of torps from my Minekaze on target on a New Mex thats sailing along in a big dumb straight line. Idiot CV decides to come in with torp bombers, so of course the New Mex now dodges the incoming bombers and most of my torps. Idiot.

That's the 2nd time in a row I've gone in to intentionally ram someone in my Bayern and missed. I'm not good at being a 25 knt steerable torpedo Oh, well. In both cases the other guy's evasive maneuvers got them killed. So it all worked out. Also had a game in my Colorado today where 8-9 ships on the enemy team chased me across to the edge of the map while my team capped everything. They got me eventually by burning me to death but lost like immediately after. I pointed this out to them and I was told 'We couldn't let you get away to harass us later.' The guns are excelent, probably the best in the game, they can citadel angled (45-60°) cruisers from 15km away. Fire chance is decent considering 9sec ROF and broadsided BB take lot of AP damage. The only issue with them is the lack of cruiser currently playing on EU..

The Dunkerque is a pretty solid ship. I was in mine yesterday and, with the help of a Fubuki and a Benson, collapsed an entire flank of the enemy force. Cruisers just lose their poo poo when a BB is sailing straight at them, going 30 knots and dumping tight clusters of 13" AP into them while bouncing 99% of their shots. I'm still learning the ropes with it, but when it's "on", it shines.

Sweet mother of god...logged in with 20k left on my Udaloi thinking I might get it in 4-5 games:  I had Type 6 Camo, First Win and 3 XP flags all equipped. This might have been the best game I've played in too, it went right down to a Yamato (them) vs Zao (us) who had his rudder knocked out. But the Zaos 2-3 fire DOTs killed the Yamato as the Yamato's last salvo was in the air. So, have the NA servers really had ~96k individual players who've logged on in the last few days, or it that either worldwide or something janky? Referring to the WoWS homepage which lists the number of each hidden achievement awarded, and currently lists Queue Jumper as having been awarded just under that now, and still rising. Mainly curious since it really doesn't feel like the population is that large.

I am going up tiers really slowly, and I think it is because, unlike tanks, I'm trying to simultaneously grind every nation. I think I'm going to pick two and worry about the others later. BTW, is there a way to dump all XP earned on premiums into the captains instead of getting all the free XP. I've got a lot and it's dangerous, it makes me want to buy gold.
