Although that'll fall into a pit of timing your eye vs. timing your ear, depending on how it works, I guess. Maybe if you don't look at your phone at all or something?

Here's what I don't get, though. Why is Fumika so good? Almost feels like cheating. Her SSR that I didn't get was a gift from heaven in terms of good fan art. Hopefully they are out in FORCE for her birthday. Anything less is unacceptable, and quite frankly, unforgivable.

I generally try to time my taps to the music rather than the notes exactly hitting the spot, where possible, so if I've adjusted it such that the game expects me to tap "late" it would work out. As mentioned the game appears to have an unusually generous window for success so it's possible at least. I haven't actually tested it since, I'm all girlfriended out after actually putting effort into an event.

Slow to notice this, but thanks to folks discussing upcoming stuff in Discord, I just noticed that there's gonna be some kind of thing with a few episodes of GFN-related content. Seems to have been related to the whatever announcement that got posted in here a few weeks ago. I think I'll watch that if it gets subbed, to see if I retain much familiarity at all despite not having played the game in months.

The Anichart description mentioned Ootori Song Academy or whatever that school's name is - idk if they ever showed up in the anime, though, so they could be new to you. But if it's explicitly meant to build off of the rhythm game's canon I feel like they'd go in a direction emphasizing game-exclusive content (though that could also be just through their using the main group, nonet).

I'm saving up to do a 5x11 pull eventually. Or use them for medleys + score attack to get the SR. The main reason I have so many loveca is because I spent a medley event before the daily quest gave a loveca to get max bond with a whole bunch of the girls that I idolized. That was before I cared enough to work for the SR.

But yeah, in Girl Friend Beta there are no other schools so them being there at all is probably all that's really going to make it a "Note" anime since they presumably won't be having a singing contest. It didn't actually occur to me that it wouldn't get officially subbed but since it's a web anime that's very possible. Hopefully someone'll pick it up.

Surprised there haven't been any Kotobombs posted here for her birthday. I'm 5 loveca out from a Scout 11 thanks to saving up (used to do a lot of Solo Yolos when I didn't know any better, my cousin and other SIF players I met at a con told me how dumb that was and how many SRs I'm missing out on), the Kotori birthday gift, a 2 loveca "sorry for emergency maintenance to fix an error showing Ruby instead of Kotori since the former's birthday is the 21st", and some Token Match point and full combo rewards. Should be able to do a pull in the next couple of days, depends on what the Limited Time Scouting options are, or whether I should just do Honor Student Scouting to possibly get some Fairyland SRs. Was able to idolize my first SR (Magician Pana) with my previous Scout 11 right after the next to last event (Chika and Riko token match), along with a Ninja Kotori, so I'm hoping for a decent one this time around when I build up the loveca. Was told to come here to discuss SIF instead of the Sunshine thread, so I have. Full Moon Pana token event just started up, there's already a dude hacking and bragging about it at the top of the leaderboard, like the Chika/Riko double event last month. It took K-Lab way too long to remove that dude, and only after he hacked more accounts to the top of the boards. Hopefully they'll do it quicker this time around.
