Listening to this reminds me of my flight instructor. He flew observation planes in Vietnam. He once demonstrated how to do a dead stick landing by pulling the throttle back to idle, then doing a touch and go on a gravel road in front of some farm house. He was only a little crazy. |

yeah I am into stoner metal stuff. That The Sword song is one of my favorites, and Warp Riders is their best album. I really like thrash, and I really like grooviness. Sludge metal is a good intersection of heavy headbangyness and hip-shaking groovosity imo

Baroness and Mastadon sound nice, but they don't really resonate with me like most good metal does. It just doesn't spark that primal thing inside of me that makes me want to rock out. I don't know how to explain it. I guess they just aren't heavy enough
