Game looks better than the anime but the gameplay seems a bit dull. The enemies ever do anything ? Or they just stand as big groups around the map to be killed ?

The musou tradition is to have waves of mostly useless chaff to wade through interspersed with the odd specialist (heavy, brawler, archer, etc), usually being led by an officer of some sort, named or generic. In the Warriors games they have dozens of named officers to drop on you which keeps things fresh (to me anyway) between the different mission objectives you'll get. Berserk doesn't have dozens of named adversaries to draw from, so I'm not sure how they'll handle it. How did Hyrule Warriors pace itself? I haven't played. Probably costs a lot more for non-humanoid shaped apostles to be playable. I can't think of a Musou game that has you play as anything other than a horse/person.

If they include his mad dog knights as an enemy to slaughter than yeah, I don't mind. But isn't this game supposed to end around the Witch arc? Like if they don't get to fight Ganishka as anything but a side boss than I don't mind the Neo Band of the Hawk not being playable characters outside of DLC for the first game. Depends on the price, which knowing this is Koei, is probably going to be loving price gouging as poo poo, isn't it?

I want that to happen because it's more drama between Griffith/Guts and yet I don't(elfhelm=NICE DAMNIT). I don't think it'll happen immediately though. I think it'll happen after Casca is cured and the brands are nullified(i think this will happen. Well, hope). Griffith will pay a visit, There'll be a meeting of kind and it'll go from there. The final battle will probably take place in either Elfhelm or Falconia, but Griffith might try to invade Elfhelm before being forced to retreat to Falconia. If most of the apostles die attempting to take Elfhelm that would make it much easier for Guts to confront Griffith directly in his city without having to fight his way through every opponent ever. It would also give us a chance to see how powerful the wizards are and how much Gut's team has strengthened.

As big a bullseye as Elfheim seems to have on it yeah I don't think taking on Wizard Country will be as easy as apostles might imagine. Whatever happens I think it'd be way more interesting is Elfheim isn't destroyed, either at all or successfully if an attempt ends up being made.

Like Zodd, some of them aren't completely bloodthirsty monsters, but the vast majority of them are still only held in check by Griffith. If anything happened to Griffith, Falconia would become a bloodbath, purely due to the apostles no longer having something to hit them on the nose with a newspaper.
