Hm. Hm. EoH recreating the end of SC point for point sucks, along with a lot of other things it does. But that ending is ADORABLE.

Crap, i just started marathoning jojo's colored adventure because i was too impatient to wait for the anime, maybe i'll try and start part 6 whenever i hit the end of the part 5 translations.

This is the second time this week I've heard someone mention it (a friend was joking about how Araki himself wrote it but some Jonathan lines contradict themselves). I don't remember anything about Araki writing it just, like, approving the overall ideas I thought?? I could be extremely loving wrong as usual though

Actually loving DIO showing up at the last second as a final gently caress you gambit is extremely good, and the fact that Johnny personally can't tell when time is stopped(but his attacks can still move) adds a new twist to the fight

One of these days I'm gonna look into making a jojo game in trad games and round up some folks to play it. I already have a basis for what the general plot would be as well as an idea for how I'd run it, but the biggest issue aside from laziness would be figuring out how to run it without it just being pure RP because I want it to be a pen & paper game for reasons. If I ever go through with it, I hope some of the people in here will join in and have some fun.

Mugticket posted:What have you figured out? I'm also probably going to play jojo-pnp with my buddies at some point, so hearing about someone else's implementation could help a lot. Well for one, I've got a solid setup for a way to get a bunch of stand users all in one place to fight each other, and I also know that I'd let people create their own characters but explicitly forbid them from creating their stands since I'd make a small pool of stands and then assign them based on how I think they'd fit with any individual player. A big part of jjba is how a character is given X power and has to use X to do Y, while under attack by Z, where Z can seemingly murder them or neutralize X or prevent X from doing Y entirely, so by assigning a stand to a player, I would hope to force them to try to come up with uses for their powers and let them try to bullshit me on how they've got everything in the bag, that they've set up a plan to win using the limited tools I've given them.
