I laughed a lot. Thought it was much better than the last three episodes last season about ads and the lame Tweek/Craig yaoi. The only thing that fell flat for me is the member berries. Hope that doesn't stick around. I loved Kyle's dad being the internet troll and Mr Garrison having to backpedal and being worried that he's actually going to win. Hilarious episode.

Yeah, and I'm glad that they didn't poo poo on Clinton too much either. It's not that I'm against making GBS threads on her at all - I'm voting for her, but she does deserve at least a little mockery - but it's nice that this episode wasn't just some "TRUTH IN THE MIDDLE, BOTH CANDIDATES EQUALLY BAD" horseshit. Like the original "giant douche/turd sandwich" ep, for example.

I just don't like it when they go full on political, and prefer to see them mock the characters outside of politics, kind of how like the made Obama/McCain into an Ocean's 11 style crew.

That Obama/McCain episode was kinda crappy too. Their contemporary politics episode tend to be a little off. I liked Douche v Turd and I'm A Little Bit Country though. Catchy tunes.

Wasn't expecting Gerald to be the internet troll. But then...what is Cartman really up to? That fairy tale he wrote had me rolling. "He went to visit his grandmother, who was a little black boy named Token." Even better than those politically correct fairy tale titles I so love.

It was an OK episode. I laughed a few times, but it mostly just felt like a rehash of 12 year old jokes about douche vs. turd. It felt like the setup for some future episodes, in case we forgot about last season. So hopefully, maybe the next couple of episodes will actually have some sort of insightful commentary or be funny. One or the other, I'm not particular. thrakkorzog fucked around with this message at 07:31 on Sep 15, 2016 |

She put classified info on a public server because she an idiot. Likewise, much like most powerful people, when she broke the law out of ineptitude rather than maliciousness she wasn't even given a slap on the wrist, even though she tried to cover it up at all costs (like smashing all her electronic devices with hammers and using purging software when the FBI came a knocking). I suggest reading anything by any legal expert, especially the Popehat people who are anti Trump as hell and you can read about his legal woes as bonus). As for her agenda no it isn't. Sanders had a progressive agenda. Obama had a liberal agenda. Hillary's healthcare for women proposals, the best thing about her, in some areas are eclipsed by Trump (maternity leave). Her foreign policy agenda includes escalating American action in Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East (a policy that bred ISIS and the refugee crisis, as well the uncounted loss of life) and promoting a neo cold war with Russia, something that Obama outright mocked Romney for. There's her Wallstreet apologia and connections, there's her complete unwillingness to provide a public option. There is a reason why neocons flocked to her when Trump won, it's because they have the same overall policy goals and philosophy. gently caress, her position on the TTP is obvious fake and has been out righted stated as such by her personal friends and she even dropped her support of the minimum 15 dollar wage. Hillary Clinton would be the most despised major candidate, if not for Trump, in history for a reason. She had to cheat and collude with the media to defeat a seventy year old socialist for a reason. She would have lost to loving Cruz by a landslide for a reason. She can't reliably beat an orange white supremacist reality tv show for a reason. She's a piece of poo poo and if she wins will be a terrible president. Trump being worse doesn't change that or make that better. Hence the joke that even when trying to campagin for her, Garrison can't think of anything to say besides "think of the big picture. Yeah okay, I get that. " My Q-Face posted:Hahahaha, go back to your hug box, DnD is that-a-way.

Mostly good points but I think Hillary's maternity plan is double the length of Trump's and also includes paternity leave, which is miles better, if true. My problem with her is that I don't think she'll actually follow through on anything. She's feinting left because, well, she almost lost to a 70 year-old socialist many of whose supporters actively despise her. Hunker down for a week of DnD bullshit I guess. The best parts of that episode were the callbacks to GD and TS and the 15 seconds we got of an inept children's storybook.
