You all don't remember how awesome Keke was. Nico is a little poo poo but gently caress Keke deserved more than 1 championship and it'll set Lewis on max petulance if Nico wins. I'm fully on the Nico train.

New rules will make races competitive again, never mind that every major rule change always seems to have one team take perfect advantage of it and completely dominate the season And for those who love to hate NBCSN, maybe Fox will provide better coverage if the new owners decline to renew with NBC: http://blackflag.jalopnik.com/americans-couldnt-even-watch-the-middle-of-the-only-u-s-1786765060

big regulation changes don't really seem to lead to domination any more than anything else the problem is freezing development after that and letting that team capitalize on that advantage for several years in a row

learnincurve posted:Well, goodnight thread, watching/mocking the race with people in real life again with lots of pauses so we can go outside for a smoke and make tea without missing anything. Nico's radio celebrations followed by the unbearable smugness on the podium after he describes how it is more difficult than you would think to go zooming off into the distance and pootle about at the front in clean air, is going to be horrible. Sigh.

Also wider cars and more downforce aren't exactly going to make overtaking any easier.

I hope next year we have a properly dominant, lap the field kind of team, where you talk about their victories in terms of minutes not seconds, that's F1 at its best

I have two tests to study for tomorrow. Is this race worth watching? Or should I assume that Lewis won and then rest of the grid was a train?
