Josh Sitton not being at LG is definitely not why the Packers lost. They played pretty well against what will probably end the season as a top 5 D Line in Minnesota. I also don't blame McCarthy for going for it instead of the field goal because field goals are for pussy crybabies and going for it is why Mike Tomlin still has a job so gently caress it. This loss is on Damarius Randall getting torched by a young guy who looks pretty loving good and Aaron Rodgers playing pretty lousy football for most of the game.

Two things against that:

Not having Sitton meant when Lang was out for awhile, Barclay was in instead of someone who can actually block anybody. Rodgers sack, drive ended.

Going for it is fine, but don't loving use Starks up the middle when you have a perfectly good Lacy available. That is just pants on head retarded.

And Aaron looked like a bag of poo poo today.

edit: also RIP AP, you were a good football carrier.

i watched the cards highlights:

- david johnson can really throw a stiffarm
- palmer was completely hosed last year after the hand injury, his td pass to jaron brown was a 50 yard frozen rope right at eye level that caught him in stride
- larry fitzgerald is still the greatest. his td catch was vintage

Bad, very bad!
You are complaining about reaching a conference championship game, just to be clear?

My team went to the divisional round last year and I can't complain because they won their first playoff game in over 20 years. Despite having the worst clock management in that game this side of Les Miles (without the strange black magic).

Man gently caress UNLV.

It is actually still good to make the conference championship even if you lose it in heartbreaking and frankly hilarious fashion. But to spare you the heartbreak I fully support the Packer's never making the playoffs again.

Every game the Rams win means another week where Jeff Fisher is gainfully employed as their head coach. Also 9-3 is the score of an actual NFL game lol

But it was funny to watch Pete Carroll run around like an idiot when that OPI was called.

I won't believe any talk or belief that Fisher's fired until his car is towed from the parking lot, or reports come of him being physically kicked off the team plane in mid air and his body has been found

Zimmer likes to work guys into the lineup slowly. Hendricks didn't start for five games or so and Waynes is just now starting.

Also, Diggs was inactive to start last season and didn't get on the field until Johnson got hurt. Zimmer likes bringing young players along slowly and Norv has an overly complicated offense. Treadwell is going through some growing pains right now, but it is nothing that I am concerned about at this point. He was on the field for a couple snaps tonight and hopefully his role will start to grow, because a good X to pair Diggs would really open up the offense. I really want to see him in the red zone.

Waynes had an up and down game. He demonstrated great recovery speed and had some nice tight coverage, but he fell back into his habit of being too handsy, which is part of why I didn't want to draft him last year. I do think that some of the calls on him were BS, but I'm not sure if the solution is to sit him once Rhodes gets back or just let him play through his issues. It was nice to see him come up with a huge interception to kill GB's final drive. It was a great play and I think it did a lot to help restore his confidence. It's incredible that the D played so well through two games without their best corner.

Sam Bradford's performance reminds me of the dark days of 2010 St. Louis Rams. The team had no targets for him to throw to whatsoever so they traded for Mark Clayton who promptly had 10 receptions for 119 yards in his first game.

Then Bradford was ruined by a change in scheme every year and the Rams inability to field a decent cast around him and now he's shell-shocked and broken.

Good luck Sam.

I'd say play him at this point. The mistakes he made last night came from lack of confidence. Let him work through that and he'll be the best corner on the team. Rogers threw away a lot of passes last night because no one was open.
