This Thai webtoon showed up recently, and it looks like it might be interesting, it's called Teen Mom. It's about a high school graduate who finds out she's pregnant and doesn't know what to do, there's only a half dozen chapters so far and they're short, but it looks cute and I think it's the first Thai series I've seen that's been translated.

Looks pretty cute indeed.

The only other translated Thai works I can think of is Ratana Satis's stuff, the only one I read was Lily Love and kinda dropped it out of apathy once it started going too heavy on the drama for me. There might be more translated Thai stuff out there we're just blissfully ignorant of though!

there are some updates on Soil which made me start reading it and it is pretty good. The art style is awesome as well.

I'm sure everyone's familiar with Mad Bull 34. But I know there was a sequel called "Mad Bull 2000." Has anyone read this or know if it was ever translated? Seems odd there's so little information about it considering how crazy the original was.

It's really bad, but I like it in the same way I like bad 80s OVA. Like Genocyber.

The difference between Ubel Blatt and Genocyber is that Genocyber is actually cool and good

Like, Genocyber is a lot of really loving neat ideas executed in an iffy way (that still doesn't really detract from it most of the time), Ubel Blatt is just lovely Berserk

I don't think even the original Mad Bull 34 is fully translated, just a few random chapters and the OVA.

Ubell Blatt eventually stops being lovely Berserk, but this is only so it can become a different king of lovely thing

her entire gimmick is that she's into western games, it had to be splinter cell since i think rear end Creed was mentioned already.

Check out Eurocomics, it's a lot closer in feel than other mangas I find.

Not that there aren't some really cool weird experimental mangas out there, they just aren't as popular or easy to find.

Apparently Batoto has the author's name written differently for Tokkabu.
Otherwise, it should be the same person.

Dorohedoro reminded me of Appleseed, mostly because of the strong trust Caiman and Nikaido share. There's a lot of violence and humor too.

Blacksad maybe? A comic series instead of manga but hits the Noir/Depressing tones pretty well.

Might as well read Canardo for depressing Noir stories featuring furries.

For manga I guess there's Blame! that's kinda similar.

Well, I hardly like anything that could be construed as furry. But Blacksad was impressive whether it be story, art, or how it handled its tone. Canardo any good?
