Plus it grows in at weird, uneven angles and I have to basically go over my face like three times to get it shaved without leaving patches. lol using a blade for a month at a time, it's dull as gently caress and that's why you don't get a good shave. the FUSION doesn't have magic technology that can keep an edge sharp. you have the electro-vibrator one, don't you? it hides the dullness by doing a bit of sawing movement with the vibrator, it's the Ginsu of razors. get a razor that you don't have to stretch out for 30 days because buying them will put you in the poorhouse. like bob cratchit begging scrooge for a piece of coal, "please mr gillette just one more blade, it's christmas " and despite all that the dollar shave club was worse

I did dollar shave club for a while, but even on the once every two months plan, I was still stockpiling razors. I have a super beard, and only shaved maybe once a week before I quit shaving entirely a year ago. I have like a decade worth of razors in my bathroom cabinet, and I will probably never use them. Mach3 was a better shave. Throw off the razors of oppression, my bearded brothers!

Goddamn dude poo poo I don't want to pay a slightly higher price initially for an item that would last a lifetime. What is this steampunk bullshit. I don't want a goddamn ivory unicorn hair brush because why would I ever want to own something nice? Lol nice try gooners. I'm not some sperg who blows $20 for some fancy pants razor handle then gets blades for pennies a piece. I do it the cheap normal way and buy cartridges that are like $4 a piece. You dumb steampunk nerds.

I didn't think I was paying for a bunch of cuts and ingrown hairs, but that was what I got anyway!

The stupid straight razor thing will put me in the poorhouse to buy a drat handle and then I'll never use it because it looks like it takes a year

Think about it, as men we all have penises and we all have beards, if you shave off your beard you might as well chop off your dick.

That's why there have been so many suggestions to get a safety/double edge razor. It's the best balance of cost, quality and ease of use. Straight razors require you to have a not only a good shaving technique, but also good sharpening technique. Otherwise there will be lots of blood. Or a hosed up edge on your blade which is easy to do and a quite costly mistake. Go to your closest fancy gentleman's store/webstore and see if they can work out some sort of payment plan so you can buy a safety razor handle. *edit* My face is far, far cleaner than any hippy beard havers can possibly be.

Well no, that's not what I was saying at all. But now I've now realized I was wrong and a straight razor is exactly what you need. This is the Dovo Bergischer Lowe Buffalo Horn 5/8" Straight Razor 5/8" full hollow, carbon steel blade with gold etching and Natural buffalo horn scales (handle). Made in Solingen, Germany. Just buy one to start out and see if straight razor shaving is for you.

If your barber is cutting you with the razor then they are bad at it. My boyfriend had a straight razor and he was pretty good with it. He rarely used it because it takes 3x longer but he didn't get a bunch of ingrown hairs on his face or anything when he did. That was really his only complaint; just not really worth the time it takes (stropping the razor and all that too) 95% of the time relative to just using a safety razor.
