Here's a nice visual of the Belgian EL groups If the clubs consistently play at their top level they should honestly all go through. However, they won't, and so I reckon Anderlecht & Genk are the only ones to go through. (Gent might if Braga are as poo poo as they were when we had them, Standard are hosed)

FIRST TRAINER DEATH IS HERE Surprise surprise, it's Yannick Ferrera. Standard is such a joke of a club. So much things going on behind the scenes. EDIT: Jankovic (coach of Mechelen (not anymore ) ) will replace him. shut up blegum fucked around with this message at 10:09 on Sep 6, 2016 |

Well no one is going home happy in this case, except Jankovic and his agents for their chance at getting Rouche paychecks. I'm secretly hoping Club tap Ferrera up, he's worked alongside Preud'homme before. In any case, any club that doesn't try to tap him up is incredibly stupid. e: also lmao at Jankovic going "I've had the privilege of working in a real positive atmosphere for two years" when headed to what's probably the most toxic atmosphere in Belgium football atm

Seeing as there's Eurofoot next week and there's definitely not any embarrassing losses to discuss today, it's time to see who exactly these group stage teams are: Other teams in this group are: Leicester CIty Football Club aka The Foxes (the Foxes) aka the Blues aka City What did these scrubs accomplish? They were champions in England last year? That can't be right. But it is. They've won the League Cup three times as well Trainer: Claudio Ranieri (ITA) Main league rivals: Nottingham Forest, Derby County You've maybe heard of: Jamie Vardy, Danny Drinkwater Players with a Belgian past: Marcin Wasilewski (Anderlecht 2007-2013) Have we met?: No, this is only Leicester's 4th foray into Eurofoot. They never had to play Club in the previous three. Founded: 1884 (as Leicester Fosse FC) As champions of England, Leicester got a direct ticket to the group stages. Futebol Clube do Porto aka Dragões (Dragons) aka Azuis e brancos (Blue-and-whites) What did these scrubs accomplish? The second most decorated team in Portugal if you count total amount of trophies, Porto are one of the (in)famous Portuguese Big Three that have been wrecking the Primeira Liga since forever. Wowzers Anderlecht are the top seed in Group C. It's pretty obvious that Waasland-Beveren only fired Henkinet because they have an abundance of keepers at the moment. I'm sure that if Köteles didn't join them, Henkinet would only be suspended and ordered to pay a fine by the club or w/e. But I'm curious what will happen to Deschacht. His defense is pretty stupid (why wouldn't his brother open his own betting account??) and betting on a loss for Anderlecht... Yeah, that might be the end of his career. Even though I think there's no-one in the world that bet on an Anderlecht win against PSG Also: lol Brugge
