Thanks! I've been working on series and more cohesive ideas lately and I've not only been pleased with the results, but I've just plain enjoyed shooting more.

Looking at this again, I want to edit out the big blue box and the 2 red bits completely. I kinda feel like its cheating though. Am I being silly, thinking that?

The geometry is messy but the colors (including the red) and constituent features are good. I don't know? But I don't think there's much to salvage here. Maybe try for a different angle of the whole thing, if that's even possible.

It definitely is. I think if I get another cloudless day I might try line the edges of the roof and box thing up at a time when theres no shadow on the the gas cylinder, its just figuring out what time of day thatd be and walking over.

Tbh I think the biggest thing is slowing down the process when I take a pic. All the photos people here comment on/get faved on flickr are photos where I didnt feel pressured to rush

There is no such thing as cheating. It's all pixels, and if you do it right then nobody would know in the first place. The alternative is to go back and tear down those signs but you might be arrested. Since they're on solid plain surfaces it would also be super easy to edit out.
