Blind soccer? I heard the ball has jinglebells in it but how do they know where the goal is? That coach behind it yelling? A beeper?

Yep, the guy behind the goal is a "guide", who shouts directions.

I'm surprised you think they could *keep* 6-year-olds from playing full-contact.

I had to do this too. But if you keep combing it that way for a few weeks it will start to do it in its own.

The first season mostly sucked but it massively improved after that, it's been really great these last few seasons.

I love it personally. It took a while to find its footing in the first season but it's been fantastic since then.

First half of the first season was a slow burn; it took its time, probably more than needed, to build the characters, settings, and interactions. I'm perfectly fine with wading through a few bad episodes if there's a payoff, and this was a bit of a slog for me. However, there is a single episode that hits everything into high gear and it basically never stops going strong.

Don't be such a squid, bro
Also chiming in that AoS is pretty good, in my opinion. Very dynamic and has a great cast. Gotta check the new season out. I love that this show always takes you to places you'd never except them to go.

Start at episode 10 and skip 15. You'll get enough of a buildup and character development that the wham episode still hits hard.

I'd say watch the whole thing. The early stuff isn't offensively bad or anything. Plus it makes the uptick in quality that much better. But my time isn't very valuable and I make questionable choices daily. AoS is still awesome though.

Just watch all of it. None of the early episodes are offensively bad, just kinda bland.
BUT it's kinda on purpose because of a planned tie in to the movies.

I'm going to go against the grain and say don't bother with Agents of SHIELD unless you're watching a highlight reel of Season 2 made up entirely of Kyle MacLachlan and Adrianne Palicki. Maybe Season 4 will shake out better and the Ghost Rider stuff is promising...but the batting average has been low so don't get your hopes high.

If you're really strapped for time, just watch the first ehh, two or three episodes and then jump ahead to follow this rec:

That'll give you enough of an impression of things to let you decide if you wanna watch the entire first season or not. I didn't even know it was supposed to be bad, when I first watched it so y'know, different strokes for different folks.

edit: Okay, so now that we've got someone saying the show's bad, it's basically just completely up to you now. Depends on if you can trust goons to have good taste in shows or not. :v:

Ghost Rider was the only comics I ever liked, but even that won't be enough to wash the 30 minutes of the Nicholas Cage Ghost Rider movie I watched. I never really liked comic book movies to begin with, but that one solidified my position of never paying to see one ever. Like ever. Like ever ever ever.

Deadpool was OK I guess.
