Well I mean what I said answers the question regardless of which song actually got reused in AA3. Sugimori does tense really well I think, the original Cross Examination Allegro is still the best in the main series IMO (Investigations is cheating because Presto). they're both good themes and if you want a redone in-game version of AA1's Objection theme just play PLvPW https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be9xb9OO49A

It makes more sense once he's the mentor for Apollo and Athena, similar to how Mia was for him. T&T really had the best music

AA3 had the best Court, Moderato, and Pursuit themes. AJ got the best Allegro and Lobby. I think AA6 actually has some of the best investigation themes, though.

The new Investigation ~ Core owns. Only like half the games have a really good one and it's a bit of a pity (it works in JFA as a characters theme but it doesn't get me pumped like in AA 1 or 4).

Yeah, the Investigation - California theme is really really good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyTFQ1Z9un0 And then Trucy's magic show theme was great too, it's like Turnabout Big Top without the PTSD. I also am extremely high on both the moderato and allegro themes of AA6 but they're very fresh so it's hard to judge them accordingly.

AA6's "beginning of the case" theme is super good and I want to say how well they used it throughout this game.

I might be in the minority, but I'm in love with the Song of Ceremony. I knew the vocalist sounded familiar and lo and behold, it's Haruka Shimotsuki. She's so great at ethnic music, and I've been a fan of her since At Tonelico.

Y'know, for something so simple and repeditive, I really like the Psyche-Lock music. I mean I really like most music in the Ace Attorney series not named "Berry Big Circus ~ We Suck So Much We're Unique In Not Having A Subtitle", but E: please ignore that the other song I mentioned in the same drat post also has no subtitle, I certainly did

(And the former makes me really want Logic Chess to appear in a mainline AA game.)

Gumshoe will be a victim in AA7. The killer? Poverty. His pay was deducted so much that he was forced into homelessness, unable to afford food any longer. Can Phoenix and Edgeworth team up to "turnabout" income inequality to prevent something like this from ever happening again? I'm surprised Capcom went away from AA1's musical direction. Did the original artist ask for too much money to keep composing for them? I suppose the tone of the series has changed over time. This was always my favourite tune from AA1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tjp-_xhZXY0

Well crap, had a whole post typed up about Apollo's Asinine Attorney and my app crashed! Unsure if spoilers needed but will do so just in case. Some quick things: - this case is less "serious" than Phoenix's - there's minimal Klavier for all you haters out there, seems like he's missing some animations, understandable given the time frame and it being a joke case - there's one special guest yet unseen in SoJ, and a character mention so far out of left field I had a surprised grin - pixel theme is based on Case 6-2

Honestly I think it was a huge missed opportunity not to time the emotion bleeps to the BGM, especially since we know that they can time bleeps to stuff generally. Timing irritating bleeps to the BGM makes them orders of magnitude less irritating, as a rule. See: Axiom Verge, which like many metroidvanias (and videogames) has a low-health bleep alarm - which is a thing that normally drives players crazy - timed to the current BGM.
