tl;dr: Battledome Wed at 9pm, unless someone else is running that slot. Battle Dome is the coolest poo poo ever when I was 12 and it was the only show apart from wrestling that was must watch weekly programming in my bedroom. If you thought American Gladiators was fun, but everyone looked like dorks, Battle Dome is for you. If you thought American Gladiators was some soft looking Kindergarten poo poo, Battle Dome is for you. If you are a horny kid in 1999 and your dad didn't get you your own cable descrambler for Christmas one year so you could watch all the Sunday night PPVs and also softcore flicks on the reg (what up Dad), then Battle Dome is for you. The back of my DVD case does a lovely job selling this, paraphrasing; a fast, frenetic mixture of sports and entertainment combining brute strength with unquestionable beauty in a competition requiring brains, brawn, and athletic endurance. Average people get into the Dome to face a cadre of colorful competitors (including Terry Crews from TV's "Everybody Hates Chris") in a variety of exciting games to see who will hold the Battle Dome championship belt. In reality, it's one of my favorite representations of the xtreme barbed-wire gently caress you attitude of the late 90s-early 00s where everything and everyone is just fuckin goin for it. It's crass, guys are getting dropped on their heads and necks like they were in a Steiners or Ascension squash match, and the athletes range from legitimate Hollywood talent to world record holders in running through plate glass windows, with nudie mag ladies for garnish.  -------- Here are some of the events in Battle Dome:  Anti-Gravity - this is like Hang Tough but xtreme, The Commander's signature event, but contestants usually score points  Battlewheel - where lower leg ligaments go to die, Cuda is usually on top and he owns at it  G-Force - this one sucks  Aerial Kickboxing - Bubba King fucks up your face  Rollercage of Fire - push the guy out, nowhere near any fire -------- CHAIRMAN'S OPENING RANKINGS  The Warriors of Battle Dome want to beat these intramural level athletes as badly as possible to climb The Chairman's rankings, and win the championship. To do so, they have to ride the Ultimate Body Slam and get clapped with the champ until someone takes a back bump.  Some of my faves:  T-Money - Terry Crews Has a Posse  Michael O'Dell - A man that has muscled down salarymen on syndicated TV for two decades.  Cuda - Cuda rules  Jake Fury & Angel - Loves his motorcycle and woman in that order. Good ol boy  The Commander & Karen Ko - he was in that steroid doc, she's the chairman's wife. my personal OTP  Sleepwalker - The Great Mutalternate -------- So I did a test run of this months ago, got frustrated when the discs and my internal drive didn't get along, and put it on the back burner. I was bored yesterday and hit up MRT's channel and ripped my worst DVD for him. I remembered I also had an external drive laying around and that one ripped these rear end in a top hat discs like a champ. I'd like to do two episodes a week, about an hour and a half runtime. Gonna start it Wed at 9 since people were getting used to having something to watch at that time with the CWC, and NXT and LU episodes are over for their live viewers. Yeah always start at episode 1. PSP-TV's audience rotates so much it'll always be fresh. We've shown Cop Rock, Monster Wars and Battle Dome multiple times and it's always new to most of the crowd.
