What? No.

If the goal is to line your pockets as fat as you can, Trump is a good business man. He exploits tax law, bankruptcy law, etc to make the most money possible.

If the goal is to grow employees and help them prosper, he's a terrible business man. He is the epitome of the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and you can't have someone like that as POTUS. The deck is already stacked against the poor without having Donald Trump as the dealer.

I don't really think the answers she gave were bad for normal people who aren't into politics though.

It was definitely her most awkward treading ground since she matched every "police have to be nice to minorities" with "minorities have to respect the police. It didn't really work

Everything else she did was great imo

In November you will see that I am right. It's true that Trump is polarizing, I just think those on the left side of the divide underestimate the amount of people on the right side. The silent majority is a real thing, it's just that it isn't religion that pulls them together.

Alright, so I'm kind of an intentionally ignorant voter, and I've never really weighed in on US politics before. I've been staying out of the political game for a long time now, because ultimately I have a distrust of the US media narrative for a lot of different reasons, most of which are probably valid. I've also lived in Seattle most of my life, so nobody really gives a poo poo what I think because our state will go with whoever is the Democratic candidate regardless, and it truly does not mater who I support. Anyway, I mention this all because I really came into the debate wanting both candidates to lose, because I didn't initially respect either one of them. I was previously planning on voting third party as a protest vote (Jill Stein). Furthermore, I've always hated the presidential "debates" because I've felt that it's merely a pulpit to spew talking points rather than any serious analysis of whatever the issues of the day currently are. Anyway, I came out of this thing as a firm Hilary supporter, and I'll vote for her now. I don't really agree with her 100%, but I think she'd be good enough.

That said, I really wish that the debate moderator would grow some balls and have cut Trump off when he was obviously running long spewing his bullshit. I also really wish we could have an actual debate where it's okay to reconsider a viewpoint on an issue given a good argument by the other party.

Yeah, but apparently he wasn't expected to - did you listen to all the media hand-wringing beforehand about how "it isn't the moderator's job" to fact check? Apparently debates are more about "letting candidates exhibit their demeanor" than discussions of actual facts, because there's "more than enough election cycle to account for facts" and that's not what the debates are for.

Or at least that's the latest excuse for toothless moderation.
