Ten years ago I worked in a store that rented porn dvds. I have some absolute horror stories, but one dude stands out because he was just such a tedious dickhead. He had the nerve to throw a fit at me because he thought I was purposely refusing to search for a video he wanted but could only remember the name of the actress. We argued for awhile and eventually I told him to gtfo and never come back. A few weeks later I see him downtown and he comes up to me crying and loudly apologising, then he moved in for a hug which I very stiffly endured. I guess he didn't have access to the internet or something.

I worked at a Wherehouse like 20 years ago and I remember basically two things. The regular customer with a small child who ended up bludgeoning his elderly neighbor to death with a yard tool and a haughty older lady who was always complaining about video quality. She accidentally returned her home made sex tape instead of the actual rented video. She had some talent but we never saw her again.

I can always respect a discerning consumer but I'm glad I've never had to try and work out if a customer is masturbating or not. Pretty much anyone who could be described as a regular for a fast food place fits into A,U and/or G. When I worked at Subway we had this guy who would come every day after his run. He always came in sweaty, smelly and wearing shorts so short that his balls seemed in constant danger of falling out.
