After the shitfest 2016 has been for smartphone OEMs, Google might take a collective 'meh' from the public as a win.

I'm really wondering what "Google Magic" is. But, the fact that it hasn't shown up anywhere but in Verizon's description probably means it isn't important. I know we're hung up on the rumored cost, but I'm wondering what justifies it. I don't think Google is charging a huge premium because they like to squeeze us, the cost has to be coming from something.

More interested right now if there'll be any info on 7.1, Pixel Launcher, Google Assistant etc. for previous Nexuseses. And if Google Home might be any good as an Echo/Alexa competitor. Edit: Release date 20th October? https://twitter.com/AndroidPolice/status/783321129188335617 Red Warrior fucked around with this message at 16:05 on Oct 4, 2016 |

Just give me a new Nexus 7 tablet (or Pixel 7, if you prefer) at a halfway reasonable price. The rest is irrelevant to me.

I'm expecting Google Home to be better than Amazon's Echo at understanding context. As it stands, Google are ahead in natural language processing and expect you to be able to give Home contextual commands like "Google, tell Kodi to play my playlist at volume 8", rather than Echo's more clumsy "Echo, tell Kodi to play my playlist." "Echo, tell Kodi to set volume 8".

I'm sick of my Galaxy Note 2 and hoping for something good and possibly reasonably price. I would have gone for the Note 7 had it not been literally a bomb.

I hope that bottom bezel gives them enough room to house TWO headphone jacks, to go with the top one tbh.
