So I watched this on the USA Today stream and they never showed the moderator. It was weird. Even her end announcement was a wide shot from the back so you could see her teleprompter.

I'm inclined to agree with the analysis that A) This probably won't move the needle too much in the grand scheme of things and B) Pence looks a lot better than before, to his benefit for any future political run

Pre-debate: Pence needs to speak to the independents and women in the suburbs or Trump loses. Post-debate: I think Pence won because he targeted the far right of the party, ignoring independents and women in the suburbs.
