my family moved down to Atlanta when i was 9 years old and in school they started talking about blasting caps all the loving time. like they'd have specific days dedicated to teaching us not to touch the loving things and stuck with it until I was in high school. i had no idea what the gently caress they were, where i might find them, or why such a dangerous thing would be lying around all over the drat place until years later when i had access to a search engine, but to a 9yo they sounded loving cool.

yeah. allowing the handful of interesting anime things to be posted immediately will lead to 10,000 terrible anime things being posted and clogging up the forum Look at the pictures thread. We have no rule against posting music, so that thread is constantly clogged with awful music that nobody wants to listen to

https://www.ime.org/content/safety_education according to the institute of makers of explosives: quote:When the program began, hundreds of children were being injured or killed each year. Over the years, the injury rate has been drastically reduced, and for the last 10 years blasting cap injuries to children have been in the single digits in the United States.

in 1926 you could walk into a hardware store and walk out with a sack of high explosives, the fact that this is no longer the case probably had a lot to do with the reduction in child injuries
