Was Duchene on waivers more than once? I checked the old fantasy hockey thread and the discussion about him getting picked up was in November, which is obviously fair game, albeit a stupid move by the original owner. Even if Duchene had been dropped during the playoffs, that's still in-season. The Crosby pickup was after the season was technically over.

Duchene was dropped again on March 27th, and picked up for $45 on March 30th. But, yes, I can see the point in that the league ended on April 3rd, and Crosby was picked up on April 6th. I also like the ability to see people's failed bids. Seems like after dropping him, Veskit tried picking him up again for $1.

The difference for me is T-Bone knew Duchene could be still be plucked off waivers and kept whereas the other GM didn't know that about Sid. Like if two gms tried to make a stupidly lopsided trade but weren't doing it intentionally then most other gms would still rightly vote it down. Similar scenario here imo. Maybe your friend should be compensated in the name of a cheaper keeper or something for one season, i dunno.

Monday can work; the HHL draft, I'm sure you know, is also Monday. I can attempt to do two at once, but HHL seems like it will take significantly more effort. e: Or I'll bid $120 on Crosby and Seguin and have no money for anything and have all the time.

Right now I've got 2 spots in the HHL, and 1 in the LSL. I'm fine with going back to 14 teams in the HHL but if two more folks want in that's cool too. I'll definitely need one more in the LSL though. mentholmoose posted:Alright, back in LSL as Use the Schwartz. T-Bone, am I good to change my team name back to Sanheim Steamroller? Sorry missed this. HHL keepers have been set. Boomer you can add one more keeper if you so desire. Prospero's Puck hasn't set his yet but I know him IRL so that won't be a problem. Please check your teams to make sure I didn't gently caress anything up. As we're back to 14 teams playoffs have been set to 6 teams (with the top 2 getting a bye) again. We also spoke last year about being able to trade future cap space, is anyone interested in doing this? I'd probably cap it at $50. Other possible changes to keepers: 4 years instead of 3? Trading a player in his last year of eligibility grants him 1 year of eligibility to the new team?

I am not sure I like the future cap space idea, mostly because I am an idiot. I like keeping players for 4 years. For some reason, I thought that was what we already had. As for the 1 extra year rule, I think it's fine the way it is. I like the idea of being a team of trading for the future for the now. Maybe that's just me.

The LOLHL draft was this afternoon, though you wouldn't know it by the number of autodrafters we had. I think 9 out of 14 owners didn't show up at all. Here's my team: Greg McKeggs Peg Leg 1.
