I feel like I've been waiting for the official announcement that barkley failed for longer than I've been waiting to hear that GRRM died of a heart attack before releasing the next song of ice and fire book. Yeah I"ve been waiting on this thing for four years. Of course it's never coming out. At least I didn't buy any jpgs of spaceships and then more to keep them company. I basically saw it as a way to pay them for the first game, which I enjoyed, and they couldn't charge money for.

It takes a long, long time for a game to get made with an extremely small team, especially when it's being made on the side. AM2R took literally a decade to get made. Even going to more simple and likely much smaller games like Cave Story, that took 5 years. 4 years isn't actually all that long compared to a lot of other projects: on these very forums, Clockwork Empires made by Gaslamp Games is very close to finally coming out, and it's been in development for even longer than Barkley 2 has, albeit only by a few months.
