Yeah, modern porn parody names are shameful compared to old ones. Never watched either beyond funny trailers on youtube, but for some reason I am really concerned about the state of parody porn titles.

I've heard it's because it's easier to find the actual title + ': A Porn Parody' instead of the fake porn title itself.

'3rd Cock from the Bum' is harder to find on a search engine and in general than '3rd Rock From The Sun: A Porn Parody.'

Personally I'd put The Fifth Element in the third spot, but I like the way you think.

Also, Jay's hair was cut too short in the new HitB, making him less attractive than usual. I will probably only watch this episode twice.

I kind of cringed when Jay was talking about how Marvel was in the wrong for letting Edgar Wright leave Ant-man when everything good about the movie we got was due to the changes they made that caused Wright to leave.

You have no idea what the original film would've been like and what those "good" things replaced.

Wasn't one it said by someone at some point that Marvel wanted to make Antman tie in to the other movies more, and Wright opposed that? So the Antman vs Falcon fight

It would have been like Paul Schrader's alternative version of the Exorcist prequel, or Alex North's alternative score to 2001, and demonstrably better in every way.

i recall people saying that it just didn't fit the "tone" of the marvel cinematic moneyverse or w/e, not problems with actually integrating it directly with the other films. i mean, the first issue implies the second, i just dont remember anyone saying anything like "wright's ant man wouldnt work in civil war and future crossover films"

I think they've made some bad calls on the predictions, in particular with the Spider-Man Homecoming movie. I bet it does twice as well as they predict.

The Total Recall remake was a particularly egregious example of a bland and unnecessary remake. Why would you take a movie with as much personality as Total Recall and remove everything that made it memorable? Some remakes appear to understand the source material but just aren't able to recreate that magic but this was a case where the people making it had apparently no idea what made the original great.

I'm sure this will happen with The Fifth Element too. Since it's notable for it's aesthetic, the remake will naturally be as dull and grey and grim as possible.

(I know I'm not saying anything new here but I was just reminded of that stupid TR remake and how wrongheaded it was).

Fifth Element really seems like a movie it'd be better to make a fraudulent too-late sequel to than remake. It's a movie set in a huge interesting universe that could have tons of other crazy poo poo happen, and it's not like it'd be hard to get some of the original actors back.

Not saying it'd be a good film, but I think even audiences would rather see "more Fifth Element" than "Fifth Element again, but lamer".

It would be perfect for one of those things where they take an existing script and just slap the name on it, as long as the script is an adaptation of something that was published in Metal Hurlant
