Do any of the old highlight/sizzle reels they would pimp at the end of eps of MBMBAM still exist? Seems like that would make for a nice vertical slice of the show.

If you balk at listening to 300+ hours of goof boys episode 146, Kenan By Way Of Kel, starts off what is IMO the best streak of episodes the boys have ever done, basically everything from that point up to like 225 is uncommonly excellent shows.

I think once you get in there you will want to listen to all of them, so I would recommend you just start at the beginning. You will get the full effect of the bros. learning and growing, callbacks will make more sense, and if you like their style of humor you will definitely enjoy the show right from the beginning. I mean Hey Jeffry is like ep. 3. The show is great immediately. The only downsides are the audio quality and some less than tolerant jokes.

I started listening to MBMBaM from what they had up on Maximum Fun and onwards, and some good early episodes I remember are Peepum's Nastygum, Thorwatch 2011, Spaghettageddon (as mentioned previously), Giant Scott Bakula, Pizza Roll Suicide and The Lion, The Witch and the Boyskinz.

As an aside looking at my playlist of MBMaM episode titles brings me the greatest of joys in life.

I only started listening recently, and I just went with the most recent episodes, then went on Youtube and listened to some of the greatest hit clips.

I did this and then started going backwards in time, it's really fun when suddenly the origin of a goof is revealed to me. I think i'm at 270 right now tho.

#280, Great Job

90% of the thing though is that Lin Manuel Miranda (and other people) have gotten a bunch of celebrities to tell Griffin greatjob + posted them on facebook including The Rock and Carly Rae Jepsen. LMM has also snuck the greatjob hand motion into a few live televised performances too.

further backstory: Lin's been a friend of the brothers mcelroy for ages including an episode he guested on (#193) and a couple MBMBAM references in Hamilton itself

That Fantasy Costco episode, by the way, is why Griffin is a great DM. It doesn't sound like Justin actually beat the check, but it was just too good a story to not let him pull it off.

Since Griffin let Justin get away with it so easily I was really expecting Garfield to turn around and use it right back on Taako.

The McElroys are not the creators of 100ft Robot Golf, nor is 100ft Robot Golf a VR-exclusive game. In fact, Sony were the ones who asked No Goblin if they wanted to do VR in the game.

yeah, you absolutely don't need a VR headset in any way to play 100ft Robot Golf, it's just an optional mode

and if it's the 'playstation' part that's turning you off it's almost definitely going to get a PC release in the future

No Goblin's last game, Roundabout, was a good game that was very funny + charming despite only having a single McElroy brother in it so I am optimistic that 100 ft Robot Golf will also be those things. Even if I personally prefer cheesy FMV and fast arcadey puzzle action to anime and slow arcadey sports action.
